Family lecture today was ‘out-of-the-world’ hilarious. Figure that this semester will be having eccentric lectures and tutorials. Workload, on the other hand, is also high up there in the list.

Was talking with YL on the way home and found that 3 out of my modules are linked together, which may or may not be a good thing. Good because I can lap over the information and knowledge enquired from the modules. Bad because when exams come I think I will be so messed up about which author is for which reading in the different module. But right now I think I will focus on the positive.

Sat through about 3 hours of boredom, staring into the mirror with blurred vision (no spectacles on) and finally got my first perm =) Happy with the result of the perm but my pocket is suffering. Total damage done = $120 + $16 = $136. Should be well worth the money since I don’t think I will be trimming my hair anymore (unless in dire condition). Won't be highlighting or dying either as I like black better because once the hair grows there’ll be the differentiated section of coloured and natural hair which means more touch ups and more money spent.

Yeah… now I can step out of the house without spending much time on pulling my hair back and trying the get the ‘fly-aways’ to stay down.

First day of school and my clock is all messed up -.- woke up at 8am today and rushed out the house thinking that I was uber late, only to realize that I am not late, instead I was almost one-hour earlier. I knew that lecture was supposed to be at 10am but when I woke up that time I was still in a daze. Such be my school jitters starting all over again hahaha...

Today's lecture about gender was thought-provoking enough and enjoyable. Hope it continues to be so for the rest.

Went shopping and got some great buys from the 'pasar malam' in woodlands. Haha the sweater/jacket was only for $10!! (Originally was $12 but my mom bargained for a lower price.) And I am sure that it will keep me warm as it’s quite thick… got another shirt for just $6 but the quality is normal but it doesn’t matter much as it’ll be for school anyways.. Should have gotten more from there but there were so many that doesn’t fit me *sob* What should I eat to get fat in the right places??? (And no, I don’t want them accumulating at the tummy, waist, thighs or butt area)

On the way back home, passed by the hair salon and asked about the perm. The hairdresser said standard price was $120. There goes my money again. Think should be getting it on Wednesday since she said she’ll be working on that day. She also told me, one week after the perm I should go back and get highlights but I don’t really want to dye my hair hahaha... Shall see how the perm goes first~

2008 is here!!! Time flies, a year had just seemed to whizzed by and thinking back it was like a blur as to what had happened for the past year. What was the most memorable in 2007:

(1)Get to meet up with some MIA friends over gatherings
(2)My own 21st
(3)Attending all the 21st birthday parties although it left me with a very empty piggy-bank
(4)Got to visit the zoo!
(5)Worked with some of the nicest people during summer break
(6)Finished painting my room, but not yet finish arranging everything
(7)Watching all the fabulous dramas and movies haha..

Hope that this year would be much better than the last cuz 2008 meant a lot of new beginnings.

(1)Officially an adult (21 yrs-old) in the year
(2)My cousin going to get married!!!!
(3)Going to graduate (Summer time)
(3)Planning to travel!!!!
(4)Stepping into the workforce (kinda scary yet exciting? But I have no idea as to what I want to do =x)

Happy New Year to all!!!

Been clearing out my whole room this week and found loads of stuff which are not supposedly mine. Stacks of old Newsweek magazines and other books are all put in boxes and plastic bags and chucked away in my room for all these years.

my messy room copy.jpg

Above, on top of my closet there’re so many stuff: Box of used new Tupperware, Box full of new and old soft-toys, cooler, new electrical jucier. Think I can open a stall selling those and earn quite a few bucks~ Cleaning up felt like I was cleaning out the storage room. Right now my stuff are all piled up in one corner of the living room and outside my room =x there’s still my closet and bed frame which I have no idea where to move them to.

Praying that tomorrow’s weather is sunny too so that I can start painting *sob* I hear thunder rumbling in a far distant~

The fuse has been lighted... Menopause has set in tonight... My dad is rattling away... On and on about stuffs which are minor… gosh… Plugging in to my mp3 now...

One day... One day... I will try moving out of the house and live alone. Only then will I really know what independence is. That one day may come when I start working.

Yeah.. Feeling upset, hurt, misunderstood and emo~ Thanks to the words spoken, the comparisons made...

Drown me in music to make me feel better.

I will be a vegan for one week due to the documentary shown in today's lecture...

Perhaps, just perhaps... I should just turn into a vegetarian like what the feng-shui shifu said...
